QUINT APARTMENTS PALMA


I stayed in Quint Apartments in Palma de Mallorca between 15th-19th July with my family and paid the accommodation fee+service fee (636€+83€).
During key delivery at the office 400€ was blocked to my credit card and as damage deposit and we were told that it would be cancelled after check-out if we don’t do any damage in the apartment. But on the 18th July this fee was charged to my credit card WHILE WE WERE STILL STAYING AT THE APARTMENT.

As we didn’t cause any damage and left just as how it was before, I sent an e-mail to their office asking for the cancellation of the fee, but they refused my request saying that “after our check-out on the 18th July they received complaints about noise and we didn’t inform them about the damage in the apartment”, so that was why they charged this 400€ (50€ for the noise and 350€ for not informing about the damage).
First of all our check-out was on the July 19th. It was the in the next apartment who left on the July 18th. And also the noise was coming from the next apartment, too. They were staying 8-10 people and we couldn’t even sleep at night becouse of the noise. They claim that they sent me e-mails and calls abaout the noise, but I don’t have any e-mails or calls from them. OF COURSE THEY CAN NOT PROVE THESE E-MAIL AND CALLS, BECAUSE THEY ARE LYING (they even don’t know our check-out date).
And as we had been outside during most of our stay we didn’t use most of the household goods (naturally except a few glasses, plates, three chairs and beds, that’s all) we didn’t couse any new damage (the apartment was very old and already had lots of damage which was made before us). And also we weren’t informed about the obligation of “informing them about the damage”. It wasn’t written on the regulations paper which was in English. And if it was written on the contract in Spanish (I had to sign it to receive the keys) I couldn’t understand that becouse I don’t know Spanish. So, that means THEY TAKE THE ADVANTAGE OF THE GUESTS WHO DON’T KNOW SPANISH.
So if you don't know Spanish never choose Quint Apartment, you can be defrauded.
